Daniel Gunn Rowland Jr., 75, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital. Mr. Rowland was a retired salesman for the Benjamin Moore Co., for whom he had worked for 35 years. He was a member of the Episcopal Church at Louisville, Masonic Lodge No. 50 here and the Elks Lodge here. He was born Dec. 10, 1892, at Danville, Ky., to Daniel and Henrietta (Tatum) Rowland. He was married July 3, 1912, to Berta Arnold Dearing at Louisville. Surviving are the widow; three sons, Charles of Arcadia, Calif., D.G. III of Crawfordsville and William K. of Shelbyville; two sisters, Mrs. C. C. Moore of Delmar, Calif., and Mrs. Ralph Weir of Junction City, Kan.; a brother, Frank of Costa Mesa, Calif.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home here with Rev. Frank Little officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Funeral services for Daniel G. Rowland Jr. were held in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Little officiating. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the floral tributes were Herb Bruner, Hewitt Cofer, Hank Nickloy, Ken White, Potter Neal and Sam O'Neall. Selections were played on the organ by Mrs. O. C. Edwards.
